The Palmital River is the main river of the Bay of San Francisco, also known as Babitonga. With its tributaries and immzense mangroves, the river is suitable for snook fishing. It brings joy yo fishrmen who practice sport fishing with artificial baits, as well as those who fish with live baits, such as shrimp and sardines. The owner of the inn, Nereu Rubens Tatara, who had been fishing for many years in the region, built the lodge on the banks of the river in November 1998 to meet the needs of snook fishers in that region. Today, fishermen come for the quantity of fish found in the river, as well as to enjoy the exuberant landscape of the river, its mangroves, and the mountains. Fishermen from all over Brazil and neighboring countries are welcomed. The inn stands out for its simplistic and cozy nature. It is maintained by the owner Nereu and his wife Marcia. A highlight of the inn is its highly experienced boat pilots, who are considered the best in the region. The inn offers restaurant services and morning coffee in addition to boat fuel, a marina and a ramp with an electric winch. Nereu, a fisherman himself has created an inn for fishermen.
